COVID Update September 12, 2020

September will continue with Virtual and IN person Patio Services,
while the IN-doors service on Sundays  in the Church Sanctuary
will be opened on October 18.
The restrictions will be the same:
* 25 % of capacity =  40 people   * reservation & registration required
* assigned seating ( families and couples may sit together)
*face mask/shields must be worn and  social distance maintained
* Holy communion will be available as pre-poured cups/wafers
*coffee to follow services on the patio

We will closely be following any changes in mandates,
recommendations, or restrictions from CDC, State or Synod,
and we will update and plan accordingly.

1. As of now, we are not permitted or recommended to gather for lunch or dinner in-doors, as we follow the CA Guidelines for Places of Worship regarding serving of Food and drink.  The particular paragraph of interest is:

Discontinue offering self-service food and beverages. Do not hold potlucks or similar family-style eating and drinking events that increase the risk of cross contamination.
You can access the entire document here:

2. We have been following the Guidelines from CDC, Synod and State from March and continue to do.

3. The Survey (send out 9/11) is a hypothetical survey asking questions that would only be considered possible if or when the current Guidelines would change.

4. In everything we have done as a church and council, our first priority has always been the safety and health of you.

 Be safe. Be kind, Be considerate. Keep distance. Wear mask. We are in this together.
